Burger 21 signs franchise deals for two locations in Atlanta, Ga., and one location in Voorhees, N.J., and opens its third company-owned restaurant in Lakeland, Fla.
Fall 2012
The fourth company-owned Burger 21 location opens in New Tampa, Fla., and the first franchised Burger 21 location opens in Orlando’s Shoppes at Millenia. Burger 21 signs franchise deals for four locations in Washington, D.C., and one location in Charlotte, N.C.
Winter 2013
Burger 21 signs franchise deals for one location in Sarasota, Fla., and one location in Albany, N.Y., and opens its sixth location near the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
Spring 2013
The first Burger 21 location outside of Florida opens in Voorhees, N.J. Burger 21 signs two multi-unit franchise agreements to develop a total of seven restaurants in Fort Myers, Naples and Southeast Florida.
Summer 2013
Burger 21 opens restaurants in the Atlanta, Ga., and Charlotte, N.C., areas. The company signs its first franchise deal for the western U.S. for one location in Chandler, Ariz.
Fall 2013
Burger 21 signs franchise agreements for locations in Pompano Beach, Fla., and Tempe, Ariz.
December 2013
The tenth Burger 21 location opens in Fort Myers, Fla., and a second franchise agreement is signed for the Sarasota, Fla. market.
Winter 2014
Burger 21 opens locations in Ashburn, Va., and Davie, Fla., and signs franchise agreements to expand its presence in the Atlanta market.
